Hi Paul,
I'm working on bifacial pv power plant, project gcr is 0,506 and row spacing estimate is 3,95 m, if i activate the bifacial specification button and give clearance height 1 m, row spacing estimate again 3,95 m. I think row spacing estimate should be greater than 3,95. Can you explain the situation.
Best regards.

Hi Cüneyt,
The ground clearance height is an input parameter for the bifacial model to determine how much sunlight reflects from the ground to the back of the module. It does not affect the row spacing estimate, which SAM calculates as:
Row spacing (m) = Length of Side (m) / GCR
Best regards,
Paul.
