Hi Abdullah,

For the Residential and Commercial financial model, a negative NPV indicates that the electricity bill savings are less than the project costs over the analysis period. To make the project economically viable you can try:

  • Decreasing the installation and/or operating costs.
  • Increasing the load on the Electricity Load page.
  • Increasing the energy rates on the Electricity Rates page.
  • Increasing the discount rate.

Best regards,
Paul.

Hi Paul,

Thank you very much for your answer solved my problem ! , I am also wondering how to include back tracking with this system as I don't see any box to tick for that matter.

Best Regards.
