Calculation of optimum surface aziimuth angle for fixed CSP system

Hey,
I am Hamza from Pakistan. I am working on CSP techno-economic assesment for a project and i am confused with the selection of azimuth angle. How to choose that. We are at 30o North and 69o East. Kindly guide me or refer to some material.

Hi Hamza,

The collector tilt and collector azimuth inputs are on the Solar Field page for the physical trough model. Those inputs along with the others are described in the Help system, which you can open by clicking the Help button at the top right of the SAM window, or by pressing the F1 key.
