Is there a way to identify Hours at Low SOC/year, medium SOC/Year and High SOC/Year for a battery.

Hi,

SAM does not have definitions for high, medium, and low battery state of charge (SOC). It does calculate the SOC for each time step, so you can use graphs on the Results page to identify those times based on your definition of those terms.

For example, displaying the "battery state of charge" output on the Proflies tab shows the average daily SOC by month and for the entire year:

And on the Heat Map tab, you can see a snapshot of the time series data for the entire year:

Best regards,
Paul.

Appreciate your response on the previous one, a follow up then Is there a way to set a specific number of cycles per year?

SAM calculates the number of cycles based on how the battery is dispatched. You can't set the number of cycles as a input, but you can experiment with different dispatch options or battery sizes to try to achieve a target number of cycles.

Best regards,
Paul.
