Can Sam Model part of the year operation? was created by Harry_Ha
Hi, there
I am modeling a IPH process at Northern Alberta, Canada location, where there are four months the CSP will not operational. So can I just let SAM model the IPH process from March to October only for financial model. The CSP will be shutdown and protected during the no operational period.
Thanks,
Harry

Hi Harry,
You can use the "system availability" losses on the System Control page to model this scenario: Set the loss to 100% for all times when the system will not deliver heat.
Best regards,
Paul.
