Molten salt model flux was created by Wanrong
Dear,
When i use the 'optimize solar field geometry' button in the CSP molten salt model, the flux of receiver normally exceed the maximum flux. So is that still acceptable for the result obtained? Or I need to guess another initial value of tower height, receiver height and receiver diameter to get a result where flux is lower than the maximum? Thank you so much.
Best regards,
Wanrong

Hi Wanrong,
Please see the presentation slides and webinar recording for the "Modeling Molten Salt Power Tower Systems in SAM 2017.9.5" for a discussion of the maximum flux parameter:

Best regards,
Paul.
