Hi Ricardo,

As of SAM 2020.11.29, we have not yet developed a battery dispatch algorithm that responds to the cleared capacity revenue requirements for the Merchant Plant financial model. This means that there are two challenges to modeling a merchant project with storage:

1. The power generation must always exceed the cleared capacity requirement, so you have to design the system (or assign the cleared capacity inputs) so that condition is met.

2. You have to design your own storage dispatch schedule using either the Dispatch to Custom Time Series or Manual Dispatch option to match the cleared capacity and pricing inputs.
