How to find the monthly performance ratio and capacity factor for PV system was created by Anik

How to find the monthly performance ratio and capacity factor for PV system. I am designing a 1 MW PV system. In the results I can find only annual performance ratio and capacity ratio. I need to see the monthly variation of Performance ratio and Capacity ratio in SAM. How to do that?

Dear Anik,

SAM does not report monthly values for several of the metrics that appear on the Summary tab of the Results page.

You could use the monthly values for "System AC Energy" available on the Data Tables tab under "Monthly Data" to calculate the monthly metrics. For a description of how SAM calculates the annual metrics, see the Help system under "Performance Metrics."
