SAM works if I drop the battery.  But I am using SAM specifically for the battery modeling. 

ReOpt sizing doesn't work because the site at times puts power on to the grid (so the site's load is negative at times).  The site has existing wind turbines, and biogas and natural gas CTs that put power onto the grid for a significant part of the year.  The site owner wants to use batteries and more PV to reduce the power provided to the grid and increase RE generation.
