I am new to this and have just now downloaded the SAM software. I am a student and have been assigned a question, but would really appreciate your help in how I need to solve this question using the SAM software:
Excel workbook (not attached let me know if you need me to attach this) containing two energy profiles: one for solar generation and one for electricity consumption. The profiles give the half-hourly shape of electricity generation and consumption for the typical customer over one year
Question 1: please work out what a customer with the following characteristics would pay for electricity over one year:
· Theirgross annual demand is 3,100kWh
· They have a 3kWp solar PV system
· They are on a specific energy provider's tariff and live by the seaside.
Question 2: please show your workings and calculate or estimate:
· What could they save that year if they had a 4kWh battery?
