Battery Efficiencies

Thanks for your reply, Paul. I have built a customized model of a Li-ion battery and have the same issue (more energy discharged than charged). I tried using the custom Li-ion option and also using LFP and simply editing some of the inputs to eliminate degradation, for example. The problem persists in both cases.

Would you mind attaching a copy of a .sam file that demonstrates the issue with the Li-ion battery and/or LPF?

Yes, I am attaching the file here. The last two tabs are the cases that I mention where I tried to customize the Li-ion model to resemble a vanadium redox flow battery but get more energy discharged than charged.

The conversion to use a Li-Po battery sounds good, I'll give it a try and will give some feedback once I can provide some!
