A problem with battery DC capacity (Residential PV-battery Model) was created by Carolina227
I'm having a problem when calculating the total battery costs at the system costs page in the model: Battery Storage, Detailed PV-Battery, Residential Owner. I have calculated the desired bank capacity and the desired bank power with REopt tool, and I have obtained an optimal result of 49 kWh and 8.499 kW. The problem is that when I go to the system costs page, in the battery DC capacity it appears a 0, instead of a 49 (which is the capacity I want) so the system does not calculate properly the total cost asociated to the battery (as you can see at the picture). It is not posible to change the and I have tried to change the bank sizing from set desired bank size to specify cells and the 0 doesn´t change.
Do you know how Ican solve this problem?
Thank you so much!

Hi Carolina,
Are you using the latest version, SAM 2020.2.29 Revision 2? I think this is an issue that was fixed along with some other Battery Storage input page problems.
You can find the SAM version by clicking Help in the top right corner of the SAM window, and then About.
Best regards,
Paul.
