samUL variables

Hi,
Is there a list of all samUL variables? For example, in the sample samUL script "Sam case study chapter 8," there is a variable call payback\n , suggesting first that SAM has a variable called payback and secondly that by adding cases to the variable, one might get different values. But I can't figure out where payback or other variables are describe?

Hi Steve,

You can browse a list of all variables in the SamUL scripting window using the buttons in the toolbar:



The variable browser shows only variables that are available for the cases in the SAM file. For example, to see the Payback output variable, there should be a case with either Residential or Commercial financing in the file. (SAM does not calculate the payback period for the utility financing options.
