Rates for Energy Charges - Weekend
Is it possible to have different rates for Saturdays and Sundays ( Sundays are often Public Holiday rates too )
( Please see attached PDF for an example of typical South African weekend rates )
Many thanks, stay safe - #Masks4All

Hi Mike,
SAM assumes that weekends are Saturday and Sunday, and that the "weekend" schedule applies to both days.
Your request is on our list of potential enhancements to the electricity bill calculations:

Best regards,
Paul.

Paul,
Thanks
Perhaps it could start with an XML input file allowing inputs for every hour of the week, hour of the year ?. We can then use
Using a tool something like this ? - andrewmarsh.com/software/schedule-editor-web/

Hi Mike,
Thanks for sharing that link. Interesting app!
In SAM 2020.2.29, you can import hourly or subhourly buy and sell rates when you check Use hourly (subhourly) buy/sell rates instead of TOU rates on the Electricity Rates page. Use the Edit Array buttons to import a column of values from a text file instead of XML.
Best regards,
Paul.
