Inverter MPPT assignment was created by Sunlight
How  do I eliminate this message? exec fail(pvsamv1): At least one subarray must be assigned to each inverter MPPT input.
Simulation pvsamv1 failed.  Where do I make the assignment?
Thanks,
Ben

Hi Ben,

For the Detailed PV model, SAM's multiple MPPT inverter option allows you to model an inverter with up to four MPPT inputs. If you model an inverter with more than one MPPT input, SAM assumes that each MPPT input is connected to a different subarray, so you have to configure the subarrays accordingly on the System Design page by enabling a subarray for each MPPT input. You can click the "Set subarrays for multiple MPPT" button to have SAM automatically enable the number of subarrays to match the number of MPPT inputs on the Inverter page.

That error message indicates that the number of MPPT inputs is different from the number of subarrays. If you do not intend to model an inverter with multiple MPPT inputs, you should set the number of MPPT inputs on the Inverter page to 1.

Best regards,
Paul.
