password fails every time

Hi,
Each and everytime I login on SAM my password fails and I have to request a reset. Is this a common problem? It is easy to reset but why does it happen in the first place? I know my password.

Hi Mary,

I assume that you mean that your password fails when you try to log on to the SAM website. (The SAM software does not require a password.)

I have not heard from anyone else with this problem -- you should not have to change your password each time you log on to the website.

When you try to log on, what link do you click? There are login links on the Support Forum page and one that appears at the top right of every page.

I have been clicking on the login within the posted support forum comments. I will try to login using the link in the top right instead to see if I get the same problem.

This time I used the login at the top right of screen. It rejected my password again. Thank you for the easy email reset.

Thank you for letting me know. I can't think of why that would be happening. I'll keep an eye out for other similar reports to see if we can identify a pattern.

Hi Paul,
I too am having this problem. I request a new password; get the link; enter a new PW into the profile page; save the updated PW; get a page updated message;logout; then try to login and get an invalid PW error.
