How can I force the software to have a battery bank charge only from the system clipped power and have it discharge to the grid within a (6pm-10pm) time window?

I have tried using the automated dispatch: Input forecast but then the battery will discharge whenever by looking at the PPA price, electricity rate, costs of cycle, and inverter clipping. If I select Manual dispatch then I cannot control from where I would like to have my  battery bank charged from.

Hi Pedro,

It is not possible to combine the automated dispatch and manual dispatch controller.

You could use the PPA price to control the timing of discharges by using a higher PPA price during times when you want to discharge and a lower price for other times.
