sCO2 Cycle for power tower was created by Dhinesh T
Dear Sir,
I came across a reported issue in the calculation of "power to grid" in SAM 2016.3.14 using user-defined supercritical Carbon Dioxide (sCO2) Cycle in the paper titled "LOWERING THE LEVELIZED COST OF ELECTRICITY OF A CONCENTRATING SOLAR POWER TOWER WITH A SUPERCRITICAL CARBON DIOXIDE POWER
CYCLE".
Below is the extract from this paper,
"The power output to the grid reported by SAM is only impacted by efficiency changes, not reductions in power cycle working fluid mass flow rate,".
I would like to know whether this has been corrected in the latest version of SAM (2018.11.11)?
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you.
Best Regards,
Dhinesh T
