Hourly data values disappear when zsam file is saved after a run. was created by steve.ihnen@vaisala.com
When a ZSAM file is saved after a run and then reopened the case output variables includes the metrics, single values, monthly data, annual data, "101" values, but not the hourly (8760) results. If those were saved in the file it would prevent having to run the simulation again each time the ZSAM is reopened.

Yes, that is by design to minimize the size of .zsam files. We just had a discussion about this last week, so your feedback is timely. I'll share this with the development team.

I agree that the storage requirements could be large. How about making it an option?

Thank you for the suggestion. In the Beta release of the Fall 2012 version that we hope to release at the end of this week, we've added a "Save with hourly results" option on the File menu. If you have time to after the Beta release, please try it and let us know what you think.

Paul.
