Wind resource data

Where can I find wind resource data for countries such as Oman in SRW format? Or How can I change other type of data to SRW format? and Which type can be converted to SRW format?

You can find a description of the SRW file format in SAM's Help system under "Weather Data, File Formats." You can also find examples of SRW files in the wind_resource folder in your SAM installation.

The SRW format is a CSV format that should be easy to work with using spreadsheet or text editing software.
