Annual Energy Production was created by basim belgasim
I am conducting a simulation of parabolic trough CSP plant using SAM. One of the configurations is using solar field with fossil boiler backup without thermal storage. In this case, the calculated annual energy production and net capital cost are in negative (-) sign ?! what is that mean?

Dear Basim,
A negative value for annual energy usually means there is a problem with the weather file or with the way you configured your system.
Would you mind attaching a copy of your .sam file to your original post above so I can help you troubleshoot? Click the Edit button to add an attachment to the post.
Best regards,
Paul.
