About using SAM to generate electricity data was created by Fankun
Hi everyone. SAM is new to me. Can I use SAM to generate electricity data using my own radiation data in 1-minute time resolution?

Hello,
SAM's solar power models require a weather file with solar irradiance data (DHI, DNI, GHI) and meterological data (wind speed, ambient temperature, atmospheric pressure, etc.). For a full list of the data SAM requires, see the "Weather Data Elements" Help topic under "Weather Data."
To use your own solar resource data, you will need to format it as a SAM CSV weather file. You can find a description of the format in Help.
SAM's photovoltaic and CSP parabolic trough models should work with one-minute data.
Best regards,
Paul.
