How to use actual solar data

Dear staff,

In order to model a battery case, I would like to know if it is possible to use an actual PV-generation profile instead of a simulated profile from SAM. Thanks for your kind assistance.

Dear Rob,

You should be able to use the Generic System model for this modeling scenario. On the Power Plant input page, it provides an option to import hourly or sub-hourly generation data and includes an implementation of the battery model.
