Keyboard shortcuts for navigating SAM was created by SolarEng
Hi there,
I use SAM to generate new projects on a daily basis, so it is somewhat routine based with a lot of mouse clicks.
I see that there is a Shortcuts section in the help menu with a few options, but I'm wondering if it's possible to add more keyboard shortcuts to speed up project design. "Start a new project" could be something like Ctrl+N
It would also be quite nice to navigate between the different project sections using the keyboard. e.g. for a PV design, moving between "Location and Resource" and "Module" could be Ctrl+Tab, similar to cycling through web browser tabs.
Thanks and keep up the great work at NREL!

Hello,
Thanks for these suggestions. We haven't thought about keyboard shortcuts for a while. I've created an issue on the SAM GitHub repository, so we can consider making some improvements for the next version of SAM:
github.com/NREL/SAM/issues/162
Best regards,
Paul.
