Is there a workaround to force SAM to clear out all the accumulated net metering credits in May? I could even type in the actual amount of the excess in May from the first pass simulation. Duke Energy NC, resets the accumulated excess on May 31. If I can clear out the excess for that month, then the financial calculations can reflect that reality.

        Hello,
SAM assumes that accumulated net metering credits are "reset" on December 31, with any remaining credits credited at the year end sell rate you specify (specifying a value of zero would be equivalent to losing any remaining credits at the end of the year).
For now it is not possible to specify a different month, but we hope to make some modifications soon that provide that flexibility. We will post updates to this feature request on the SAM GitHub issues list:

Best regards,
Paul.
