I would like to know how SAM calculates:

Field thermal power absorbed
Field thermal power dumped
Field thermal power receiver loss
Field thermal power header pipe losses
Field thermal power produced

and the relation between them. (version 2017.9.5)

Please see the Physical Trough reference manual for details about how the model calculates those values. It is available for download on the Performance Model Documentation page:
