Prevailing wind direction and wind farm orientation

Hi,

I have one simple question regarding prevailing wind direction and wind farm orientation.
I want to model a wind farm facing a prevailing wind direction NNW so I put -22.5 degree into row orientation and wind energy generation shows better performance than other orientation value. but in turbine layout map, it looks like the wind farm faces NNE as you can see it from attached screen capture.
Could you please clarify why it looks like that?

Dear Seyong,

It is hard to tell just by looking at the wind farm layout why the wind farm output varies for different row orientation angles. You can use the PDF / CDF graph on the Results page to display the Wind direction data to confirm that the prevailing wind is in the direction you expect.
