MATLAB code generation in SAM

Hi,

I am currently exploring SAM (version 2012.5.11). I tried generating MATLAB code using SAM following the 'help' instructions.

However, I do NOT see the 'Advanced' sub-tab in the 'Case' tab. I have the following questions regarding the same:

1) Have you stopped supporting this feature in the current version?

2) Or is that you can generate code only for certain technologies? (e.g PV + residential or whatever is there in the 'help')

Dear Kedar,

We have disabled the code generation feature in SAM 2012.5.11 because it had limited capabilities, and we plan to replace it with a fully documented application programming interface (API). The API will be ready later this calendar year.

I have revised the Help system to remove references to the code generation feature -- the revised Help will be part of an update we plan to release in the next week or so.
