Hi Anthony,
Can you tell me more about what isn't working with the Combine Cases macro?
Thanks,
Paul.

Depending on the system design, you should be able to model a system with more than one subarray connected to a single battery without using the Combine Systems macro. SAM does not model generators, but you might be able to get by using the Generic System model. That approach would not operate the generator in response to the PV array unless you manually curtailed the generic system's output to match the PV output.
In short, SAM is not designed to model stand-alone hybrid systems, but you may be able to use some workarounds to get close.
As for the broken link to the macro on GitHub, the latest version of SAM has the updated version of the macro, so you don't need to download it from GitHub. The development versions of the macros are available on GitHub at:
github.com/NREL/SAM/tree/develop/deploy/runtime/macros
Thanks,
Paul.
