I have done the simulation of plant taking "mundargi" region as a reference. for the average GHI of 5.77 kwh/square m/day , yearly production which i got from SAM software is 1778,619 kwh. But when i took another region " vijayapur" with average irradiance of 5.83 kWh/ square.m/day, come up with result of 1630,319 kWh. Hence in general for more value of irradiance, should get more output energy value. where as this a different and opposite case. please help me to get solution. Thank you

The answer to your question depends on what kind of system you are modeling (and which performance model you are using in SAM), and what input parameters you are changing along with the weather file. It also depends on how the solar resource is distributed over the day and year. The annual daily average irradiance is only one indication of the solar resource.

Paul.

Sir, in SAM software, while computing the energy production, why will it consider the ' PTC ' instead of ' STC' in pv module parameter selection. please help me with this. thank you

I have considered the real time power plant which gives production of 1893.402 MWh. but when i considered same manufacturing companies like for module, Talesun and for inverter ABB, with similar ratings as that of real time and computed using SAM, i came up with result of 1778.619. so what could be the reason?
Thank you

Sir, i have done simulation with multicrystalline and monocrystalline. The result for multicrystalline is more compared to monocrystalline. But in usual case efficiency of monocrystalline is more than polycrystalline. what could be the reason for this ? ( all parameters are kept same, only multicrystalline is changed to monocrystalline with different manufacturing companies )

SAM's photovoltaic models assume that the module design parameters are at Standard Test Conditions (STC).
