Image resolution and resizing in report template was created by 69L46
Hi,
After playing with the report template editor, I noticed that inserting images is problematic.
I couldn't find a way to simply resize an image in the template. Dragging the corners of the image box mereley cropped the image.
Also, how does the template size the images when you add them? Does it assume a resolution and size the image based on its dimensions in pixels (e.g., 300 x 200)? Does it assume a resolution and size the image based on its image dimensions (e.g., 3-in x 2-in)? Does it use the resolution reported by the image (e.g., 300 dpi)?
I can't seem to be able to get a decent looking image into the report template.
Thanks.

SAM's report template editor has very limited capabilities, and we do not have the resources to develop it into a fully functional (and documented) tool. I would suggest resizing the image outside of the editor using software designed for that purpose, and then importing the image.
Best regards,
Paul.
