Combined simulation reporting was created by aapostolik
I have created a commercial flat plate simulation that includes several differnet subsystems to represent differnt roof areas etc. The simulation is using several differnt inverter and string arrangements. The only reporting option seems to be for a single case. How can I create a report for a system of several combined cases?

Thanks

You may not be seeing the "combined" results in the Metrics table because the table is too narrow. On the case in which you set up the multiple subsystems simulation option, after running simulations, you should see two columns of results in the Metrics table: The "base" results are for the subsystem in the case, and the "combined" results are for the entire system.

When you display results elsewhere on the Results page, be sure to choose the Multiple Subsystems option, not the Base Case option.

The Base Case Cash Flow table only shows the cash flow values for the current case. To see the cash flow for the combined system, display the cash flow variables in the data tables: Click Data Tables, choose Multiple Subsystems for Choose Simulation, and expand the Annual Data list.

Note that you can also use the Data Tables option to display (and export) the Metrics table data.

Best regards,
Paul.

I may have been unclear in my original post. The specific report to which I am referring is found under the Tools menu "Create Report for Current Case". That menu opiton creates a PDF docuemnt with system summary infomraion in a useful format. I can not figure out how to utilize that feature to create a report for a combined case with mutliple subcomponents. Is that possible?

The report generator uses data from a single case, so it cannot generate a report showing the combined data for multiple subsystems.

That's also true for analyses involving parametric analyses or other simulation options that involve data other than the "base case" results. Reports only show base case results. (The base case results are those calculated from input values that you see on the input pages.)

Paul.
