Dear Carlos,

This rate structure requires 36 time of use (TOU) periods, but SAM only allows up to 12 periods. We are considering allowing up to 36 periods in a future version.

We've also considered offering the ability to upload a time-series of energy rates that would be used in a "real-time pricing" option. This would offer the most flexibility.

As of SAM 2020.2.29 , both buy and sell rates for energy charges can be specified as a time series array of hourly or subhourly values.
