        Hello,
Do you have any estimate of when the open source SAM codes will be available for the 2015 version of Visual Studio?
Thank you in advance.
Best regards,
Allana Netto.

        Dear Allana,
We have used Visual Studio Express 2013 to build Windows versions of SAM because of Microsoft license restrictions on the use of more recent versions of Visual Studio Express for developing proprietary software. Now that SAM is open source, these restrictions should no longer apply. We plan to test the builds using the latest version of Visual Studio 2017 Community, and then revise the build instructions accordingly.
You are welcome to try building SAM in Visual Studio 2015 -- I think VS2015 will run some automatic updates on the project files. We haven't had time to test the build on different versions of Visual Studio.
Best regards,
Paul.
