Does anyone know of any good studies on the albedo figures for white versus black flat commercial roofs with PV? White roofs tend to cost more, but my hunch is that if you are putting solar on that roof the increased albedo and cooler temperature would pay for it. Also, are there any other settings that should be changed to account for the cooler temperature of the roof if white?
