Dear SAM Team

I am trying to simulate Wind using SAM version 2017.1.17 but I get the notification said "Could not check hub height compared to resource height. This may indicate a problem with your weather file".

I have changed my file to the Windows (CR/LF) or Unix (LF) format but I still face the error.
Here I attached my file (80m.srw). Please take a look.

My appreciate for some advices.

Best regards,
Soares

Dear Soares,

The problem appears to be with the atmospheric pressure data. SAM expects the data to be in units of atmosphere, with values on the order of 1. The values in your file are on the order of 10000.

Best regards,
Paul.

Thank you for your some advices.

Dear Soares,

You can use either option on the Wind Turbine page. You can choose a turbine from the library if you have a specific turbine in mind. If you are interested in trying different turbine designs, you can enter design parameters instead.

Best regards,
Paul.
