Cannot retrieve utility rate data from OpenEI.org

When trying to get utility data with "OpenEI Utility Rate Database", SAM responds with "Error: Could not retrieve JSON data for utility companies" and has trouble loading utility companies data. (Also "JSON.." hyperlink in that window is not linked to a meaningful site.)
Is this caused by a bug or some setting is required?

We've run a couple of tests that suggest that the connection between SAM and the utility rate database is working.

Can you open the following website in your web browser?

en.openei.org/wiki/Gateway:Utilities

I'm having the same issue, but I am able to open the site you listed. Maybe it's a firewall issue?

I'm getting this same error, but I can open the link. Has there been any resolution to this issue?

Hi Will,

There was a new problem with the utility rate database connection in the last few days (as of March 24, 2014) that we resolved today. The connection should be working properly now.
