Parametric analysis - NPV not available as input? was created by Achilles11
Hi, I'd like to run a parametric analysis for a small commercial PV system, where the business simply invests their own money to build the system. I've been able to use NPV as a parametric analysis input before for case simulations of PPA solar systems, but I don't see it as an available input for this simple commercial system case simulation.
Ideally, I'd like have IRR as an input, but short of that I'm trying to estimate IRR based on the real discount rate and NPV.
Thanks!

Hello,
The NPV (net present value) is an output, or result, of SAM's financial models. You can use parametric analysis to see how varying one or more input assumptions affect the NPV.
Best regards,
Paul.
