It has also been brought to our attention that the SolarEdge SE3800H and SE 3000H inverters have incorrect ratings, e.g., for maximum AC power and maximum DC power. See above for a workaround solution.

We will release an update to SAM 2017.1.17 soon that fixes the various inverter database issues reported above and discovered in our own testing.
In the meantime, you can update your version of the SAM CEC inverter library by following these steps:
Best regards,
Paul.
In the meantime, you can update your version of the SAM CEC inverter library by following these steps:
- If SAM is running, close it.
- Download the new library CSV file from here: sam.nrel.gov/sites/default/files/content/user-support/CEC%20Inverters.csv
- Locate the original CEC Inverters.csv file in your SAM installation's library folder, which by default in Windows is c:/SAM/2017.1.17/libraries (see this post to find the installation folder in OS X).
- Rename the original file to something like CEC Inverters-old.csv, or move it to a different folder on your computer.
- Move the file you downloaded in Step 2 to the SAM libraries folder you found in Step 3.
- Start SAM, create a case with the Detailed Photovoltaic model, and check the entries for your inverter on the Inverters page.
Best regards,
Paul.
