Zero Export PV Systems was created by stumpyd123
Hello Paul,
Is there a way to set the PV system to zero export? That means that the AC generation of the inverter is limited by the load such that no power can be pushed back onto the grid. If the load is only 10 W, then the maximum production from the inverter is 10 W.
Regards,
David

Dear David,
It is not possible to limit the kWh to grid to zero, but if you set the sell rate on the Utility Rates page to zero, you can model a project that is not compensated for excess generation.
Otherwise, you could size the load (on the Electric Load page) so that it is always greater than the PV system generation to ensure that no kWh are sent to the grid.
Best regards,
Paul.
