what is Nominal DC voltage? where do we consider it? how it is different from the MPPT Inverter range?

Hello,

The inverter's nominal DC voltage is its input voltage at design conditions. The minimum and maximum MPPT voltage are voltage limits: the inverter input voltage cannot be less than the minimum MPPT voltage or greater than the maximum MPPT voltage.

If your system design results in the array voltage exceeding the MPPT voltage limits, SAM sets the inverter input voltage to the MPPT limit, which results in MPPT voltage clipping losses, which are reported in the results.

Best regards,
Paul.
