        Dear Paul,
Using TOD values, we can set different PPA prices for the different time intervals. But here we deliver the electricity from the sunrise (day time). But can we model a model that stores energy in the day time and deliver the electricity at the night time?
Thank you,

        Hello,
If you use one of the CSP performance models that includes storage, then you can model a system that stores energy during the day and delivers it at night.
We plan to release a new version of SAM in January 2017 that will include a battery storage model for the PV performance models with the PPA financial models, which will make it possible to model a utility-scale photovoltaic system with storage. (In SAM 2016.3.14, battery storage is only available for the photovoltaic model with the residential or commercial financial model.)
Best regards,
Paul.
