Access monthly (or even hourly) data from results of P50/P90 sim?

By default, results of PV P50/P90 simulation only give me final interpolated values, or annual values for each of the n years of simulation. Is there any way (even a little hacky) to access monthly, or dare I ask... hourly values for each of the simulated years?

In particular, I'm looking to describe (as a boxplot) the expected range of variation in energy production and performance factor for each month of the year. I'm sure the information is being simulated somehow, but I'm not sure if I can extract that data for my own analysis.

Any ideas?

It is not possible in the current version of SAM to generate hourly or monthly results from the P50/P90 weather files. The agreement between NREL and the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) prevents us from making this data public. (The NCDC provided the ambient weather data to supplement NREL's solar resource data.) I understand that the data may become public soon. As soon as it is, we will modify SAM to make those results available.

Best regards,
Paul.

Is there any sort of range associated with "soon"? Maybe one year, maybe 6 months?
Thanks

We are working with the NCDC now to try to make the data available, but unfortunately, I can't say when that might happen.

Best regards,
Paul.

Thanks for working on it, Paul. Data licensing is always a tough negotiation. Hopefully an agreement can be worked out that will benefit everyone.
