how to input data in EPW format was created by Engr Lawal
Dear Sir,
This is my first time to use this software.
I am trying to add an EPW data file for a particular state in Nigeria for simulation using SAM 2016.3.14 but it doesn't work.
I learned that.''For the moment, SAM cannot automatically download weather data for locations in the South Asia region'' according to Paul Gilma. doest that include African Countries please? if yes, please pl advise me on the way forward
Thank most sincerely
Engr Lawal

Dear Engr Lawal,
Is your EPW weather file causing an error in SAM, or are you having trouble choosing it in SAM?
If it is the latter, on the Location and Resource input page, click the "Folder settings" button and add the folder containing your EPW file to the list of folders that SAM searches for weather files. Then click "Refresh library," and your EPW file should appear in the solar resource library.
Otherwise, there may be a problem with the data in the file. If you would like me to check the file for you, please edit your post above and attach the file so that I can download it.
Best regards,
Paul.
