Hi,
I'm facing some trouble with SAM's self-shading modeler. I am trying to model a 1-axis horizontal tracker (E-W) but it seems that the software algorithm only takes into account the vertical row spacing which I am able to use effectively only for fixed tilt systems.
In the system that I'm trying to model, there will only be horizontal row spacing between the panels (portrait orientation) to account for self-shading due to E-W tracking. I want the vertical row spacing in this case to be 0 (vertically contiguous). How do I model such a system on SAM?
Info on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
