Modeling bifacial flat-plate PV modules in SAM was created by kjs55
Is there a (best) way to allow for modeling bifacial flat-plate modules in SAM?
Do you have any plans to add explicit bifacial modeling capabilities (i.e., an explicit option for bifacial)?
Many thanks.

SAM's photovoltaic models are not designed to model bifacial modules.
We do not have immediate plans to add a bifacial module capability. However, it is helpful for us to hear from people who would like us to do so.
Best regards,
Paul.

For the Flat Plate PV model, the Sandia module model's library includes a few bifacial modules, but they are modeled as one-sided modules.
