No Error or Warning when RH and pressure data is missing was created by NavidS
Hi Paul,
Hope all is well. I noticed in the CEC model if user chooses "Heat Transfer Method" to calculate cell temperature and the selected weather file is missing PRES and RH data, cell temperature will be the same as ambient temperature and no warning or error is issued.
Thanks,
Navid

Dear Navid,
Thank you for pointing that out. The heat transfer method for calculating cell temperature requires the following weather file inputs that are not required by the NOCT method:
Wind direction
Dew point temperature
Atmospheric pressure
If dew point temperature data is not available, then the weather file should include relative humidity data. In that case, SAM automatically calculates the dew point temperature from the dry bulb temperature and relative humidity.
We will add a check to the model so that it provides feedback when that data is missing.
Best regards,
Paul.
