Hello,
In general, if you are working with your own weather data, I recommend using the SAM CSV format. It is more flexible and easier to work with than the old NSRDB TMY3 format.
We added some weather file checks in SAM 2016.3.14, so it is possible that older versions of SAM were not detecting problems with your weather file.
Please try running the Weather File Checker macro in SAM to see if it will help you identify problems with your file. You can also use the Weather File Converter macro to convert the file from the TMY3 format to SAM CSV format.
Best regards,
Paul.
