What does DC Module Modeled Loss mean? I modeled a 10 panel system for Abu Dhabi and Amsterdam - For the same system, I get a DC Module modeled loss at around 11% in Abu Dhabi compared to 3% in Amsterdam. Why is this?

Dear Adwait,

The "DC module modeled" loss category includes any losses associated with the module portion of the photovoltaic performance model. It includes the impact of the cell temperature calculation, so the differences you observe are probably due to differences in ambient temperature between Amsterdam and Abu Dhabi.

Best regards,
Paul.
