SolarPILOT layout for different heliostats was created by parvindsastry
I am trying to plot three heliostat fields with different heliostat sizes.
I am able to do this with SolarPILOT and the plots for the heliostat fields look like this for the large (120m2), medium (43m2) and small (16m2) heliostats (attached)

I am not able to understand why heliostat field moves towards the South as we go from Large to small sized heliostats
All the field are for Southern Hemisphere, location: Upington, South Africa.

I have an average cosine efficiencies of 77% for the Large, 73% for the medium and 72% for the small area heliostat.
Is this because the objective is to minimize cosine losses?
